Detailed ability breakdowns

These signature abilities now fire in battle with their own damage and cooldowns — a bigger skill or ultimate hits harder, and the two healers restore HP instead of striking. Still on the way here on the site: the full per-ability breakdown (exact multipliers and effects), plus deeper mechanics like status effects and multi-target hits.

Note: in the current build, dedicated healing comes from Kingdom Medic and Cleric of Sol. Other support heroes contribute through their stats and element in the squad.

Lore

When the light goes red-orange in someone's eyes across a crowded square, the smart money clears the square, because it means Lyra Kashani has decided something is about to be her problem. She is a champion in the old, deliberate sense — a single spectacular figure in violet who arrives where the trouble is, usually from above, usually with timing too good to be accidental. She is not strong in the way a soldier is strong; there is not much of her, and what there is she wraps in a fighting-suit built for speed and spectacle rather than armor. The power is all the other thing. The power is considerable.

It runs warm — literally; the air bends with heat-shimmer around her at full output and her eyes burn that signature ember color — and it expresses as force projected outward: barriers thrown up over people who were about to be crushed, beams that crack a siege engine in half, a corona of fire-light that she has learned to use as much for the look of the thing as the effect. She fights from range and from leverage, never toe-to-toe, and she has turned 'arriving dramatically' into something close to a tactical doctrine. Witnesses rarely agree on what exactly they saw. They agree on the color and they agree that it worked.

Who she does all this for is genuinely unsettled. She has appeared on behalf of the Tribal Alliance, of frightened border-towns with no faction at all, and — on at least one well-documented and much-argued occasion — squarely against people the Alliance considered friends. She gives no interviews and signs no contracts and turns up, instead, by her own logic, wherever she has decided the entrance is worth making. Some call her a hero. Some call her a menace with excellent stagecraft. Lyra, when the rumor reaches her, has been known to smile and say only that a champion who explains herself isn't much of a champion, and then to vanish in a wash of ember-light, which does nothing to settle the argument.
