Summoning
Summoning & Rates
The real, verified numbers behind every pull — drop rates, the pity guarantee, and the smartest way to spend your gems.
The short version
There are two banners. Both cost 300 gems a pull, but the Solstice Festival drops a legendary about ~15× more often than the standard banner. Both run a featured rate-up — the highlighted heroes claim half of all legendary pulls — so summon on the banner whose featured unit and pool you actually want, and buy the discounted daily ticket first.
The two banners
Rates verified from the live pull logic — the same odds the in-game rates panel shows. On the Exalted banner the two featured legendaries claim half of all legendary pulls (about 0.25% each); each of the other sixteen is around 0.03% — which is what soft and hard pity are for.
How pity works
The standard Exalted banner runs on Scheme C: a low base rate that ramps up fast once you've gone a while without a legendary, so the tension lives in a climb rather than a dead march to a counter.
Soft pity from pull 60
On Exalted, once you reach 60 pulls since your last legendary, every further pull adds +5% legendary chance on top of the base ~1% — and it keeps climbing each pull after.
Hard guarantee
Reach the pity count without a legendary and your next pull is guaranteed: 80 on Exalted, 50 on Solstice. The soft ramp means Exalted almost always pays out before then.
Resets on any legendary
Pull a legendary — by luck, by the ramp, or by hitting the guarantee — and the counter resets to zero. There's no wasted progress.
Tracked per banner
Each banner keeps its own pity counter. Progress on Solstice doesn't carry to Exalted, and vice-versa. Solstice's rate is already high, so it has no soft ramp.
Pull costs
| Action | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Single pull | 300 gems | or 1 Summon Ticket |
| 10× pull | 3,000 gems | exactly 10 singles — no bulk discount |
| Daily shop ticket | 150 gems | 50% off — best repeatable buy |
New player head start
Your very first summon during the tutorial is a guaranteed legendary — Nyx Varela, a dependable mercenary and the perfect anchor for a new squad. Pulling a hero you already own converts into shards used to evolve that hero, so duplicates are never wasted.
Where your gems go furthest
- Buy the 150-gem daily ticket every day. One pull for half price is the single most efficient repeatable spend in the game.
- Save big pulls for the generous banner. When a festival banner like Solstice is up, ~15% legendary vs ~1% is not close — concentrate summons there.
- Pull with a target in mind. Each banner rate-ups a featured hero and holds a specific pool, so pick the one whose headliner and legendary list you actually want.
Featured rate-up is live
Each banner spotlights featured heroes with a real rate-up: the featured set collectively claims half of every legendary pull (split evenly among them), and a legendary won from the pity guarantee is always a featured unit. Right now that's Vesper & Dextra Harrow on Exalted and Cassia Arden on Solstice.
