Detailed ability breakdowns

These signature abilities now fire in battle with their own damage and cooldowns — a bigger skill or ultimate hits harder, and the two healers restore HP instead of striking. Still on the way here on the site: the full per-ability breakdown (exact multipliers and effects), plus deeper mechanics like status effects and multi-target hits.

Lore

Liora Stone is the kind of person who is already grinning before you have realized anything is missing. A thief, a grifter, an occasional saboteur, and — depending entirely on who is telling the story and how much she took from them — either the best thing that ever happened to a doomed campaign or the reason it was doomed. She works for whoever has the more interesting job, which is not the same as the better-paying one, and she has walked away from fortunes because the heist that paid less was simply more fun. Three different factions have a price on her. Two of those factions have, separately and secretly, also tried to hire her. She finds this hilarious and brings it up at the worst possible moments.

Her 'magic,' such as it is, is mostly misdirection with a few genuinely uncanny edges — a way of being a half-step out of where you last saw her, of having already palmed the thing you were guarding, of laughing from a rooftop you would swear was empty a moment ago. In a fight she is all tempo and theft: she takes your footing, your opening, your nerve, and the duel is half over before you notice she has been picking it apart the whole time. She fights light, fast, and dirty, and she apologizes for none of it, on the stated grounds that the people who insist on a fair fight have usually already stacked it.

Whose side she is actually on is a question her companions learn to stop asking, because the honest answer changes and she will tell you so cheerfully. She has saved lives that the better-aligned wouldn't have bothered with and pocketed things that got people killed, sometimes in the same week, and she sleeps, by all reports, perfectly well. The one consistent thing about Liora is the grin — and the people who have trusted it tend to split, evenly and permanently, into those who would follow her anywhere and those who would very much like a word.
